We would ike to say a huge thank you
to everyone who attended the KCS Golf Day at Chart Hills
Golf Club on Friday 20 July 2007. This was the 3rd
consecutive Golf Day that KCS has held and once again,
the weather and the day was excellent. The date for next
year will be posted on the website in the New Year and
we would like to see you all then, and hopefully all of
the people who could not attend this year, will be able
to in 2009.
The day started well with a full English
breakfast and some wise words from James Cornish and Luke
Gough, the professional coaches, who were involved all
day giving the golfers some useful pointers to help them
improve their game. With an Aston Martin DB9 the prize
for the first 'hole in one' either on the 7th or 11th
everyone was taking the tips on board. Unfortunately, as last year, no
one was lucky enough to win the luxury car, but it will be
rolled over to next year.
Everyone arranged themselevs in to 'fourballs'
after working out handicaps and then the first tee off
was at 8.30am. After an impressive morning, everyone stopped
for lunch and a had few cold drinks then we were back
on the course for 1pm. The day came to its conclusion
around 6.30pm when everyone came together for a 3 course
meal and let the banter begin!
